Over the next few weeks I'll be posting my thoughts and sharing with you some very inspirational business women, whose creative business ventures can serve as an inspiration. Developing and managing a business can be very challenging. Toss into the mix motherhood and you have a very busy business woman. Further, when it comes to a creative business, you are also faced with the challenge of keeping your creativity flowing and generating new ideas on demand. Sometimes this can seem like a joggling act in the Garden Brother's Circus.
Today's post highlights Anna Maria Horner, a mother of six, writer, and a fabric and accessories designer who works from her Nashville home. My personal favourite is Horner's "Drawing Room" fabric collection, which is specifically for the home. Horner also produces sewing patterns for quilting, clothing and accessories. Her books; "Handmade Beginnings" and "Seams to Me" (both available at Chapters) are great additions to any sewing and creative library.

Thanks for the blog. It is so true, as a business woman it is very challenging to keep your creativity at a standard where your production and performance level is maintained.
